Death Penalty

Should crimes other than murder be punishable by death? There is a current case in the Louisiana courts today questioning whether or not a father guilty of raping his step daughter should face the death penalty. I think those guilty of such heinous crimes should be prosecuted and charged with the ultimate punishment. The jury should have the ultimate decision as to whether or not capital punishment is actually the answer depending on the circumstance and evidence presented.

I think that other crimes should include the death penalty. I also think that crimes as acts of revenge should be treated less severely as long as it is done directly to the person and not the people they know. (the instigator has effectively caused the innocent person to be punished unjustly, they should not serve a full sentence. In my opinion.).

That does make sense to give the ultimate punishment to rapist. The only thing is that, offenders might take there actions to the extreme because they are going to get punished to the extreme.
