John McCain and the Keating Five

In 1989 John McCain and four other senators were accused of corruption. The chairman of the Lincoln Savings and Loan Association was aided illegally by the senators because the company was failing. The Federal home Loan and Bank Board were investigating Cahrles Keating Jr. who was aided by the senators. John McCain's involvement was reportedly minimal, but if McCain were just a regular guy, he probably would have caught a lot more trouble. I think it is important to know a detailed history about each presidential candidate. After all, history does tend to repeat itself.

I agree with you Seth. History does seem to repeat itself and I think it's funny that this issue has not been on the news more. It seems that no matter the situation there is always dirt on any Presidential candidate. There should be more rules to whether a person can run if they have a bad past.
