View on Voting
There is a lot of flaws in the voting system. One of the biggest flaws is people vote for who they think is going to win instead of voting for who they want to win. I'm one of those people who has fallen victim to this way of thinking. I would like Edwards to win, but I feel he has no chance. Does this mean I should still vote for him or should I focus my vote to someone who I feel has a chance. If I vote for one of the other two candidates I feel like I'm choosing the person I dislike less instead of choosing a candidate I really want to see in office.

That is a difficult one. Voting for whom you like best is probably the morally correct thing to do. Voting for the candidate who has the best chance of winning is probably an effective strategic way of voting. Perhaps we should ask ourselves first whether we want another Republican president or rather a Democratic president. Maybe that would help voters decide who is best to vote for. I think there is still no easy solution.
I, think that voting should not just be Democratic or Republican, yet it should be actually based on "who will do the best job for the country.
The way I've always heard it, you should vote your heart in the primary and vote your head in the general election.
Go with who you think is the best candidate in the primary and then vote to prevent the worst candidate from winning in the general election.
Mr. Q, that sounds good because if you did not get enough time or give enough thaught to who was running or what was their veiws of the issues you deam important to you then you can gain a lot more information on a canidate before the general election.
