Presidential Candidates Receive Same-Sex Support

Democrat Hillary Clinton gets approximately 63% of her support from women. It seems that Obama takes many of Clinton's possible male voters. Another presidential candidate, Republican Fred Thompson, is having the same problem. 68% of Thompson's supporters are male. Republican Rudy Guliani surprisingly receives 54% of his support from women. Some analysts say this may be because he is moderate when it comes to abortion issues.

I'm not at all surprised to see Hillary receiving much of her support from women. I know if she gets elected I will probably put up a poster of her on my wall or on the ceiling--for when I wake up. Whichever inspires me most.

This does make a good point. I could see how this gender gap could be occuring. If Al Gore doesn't decide to run I am voting for Guliani too.

I think it is wrong to vote for someone because of their race or sex is. It matters how they will run our country.

I know gender has alot to do with this presidential election and I feel that it is unique in the fact that Hilary is running.
