If you can't prove, You lose
Stated in the Tallahassee Democrat, the Department of Homeland Security will have a new rule for illegal immigrants. Employers will have to notified when a worker's name or social security number is flagged by the Social Security Admistrative. The rule call for employers to fire people who can't be verified as legal workers. Employers who don't follow these rules will face fines up to $250 to $10,000 per illegal immigrants.

I'm all for this plan, my only concern is that who will be monitoring this to make sure that the employers are following the rules. Also I hope that this measure is not going to be something that's strong in the ten fizzles out after 6 months.
Don't immigrants attribute some to the economy? Many people say illegals steal our jobs, but from what I have seen it seems they take jobs that no one else wants. They also probably keep business costs low because of the low wages they accept.
I agree with Alexandra. Illegals help our economy as well as hurt it in some areas. They surely do work that Americans do not want to do for lower costs. It behooves employers to higher low cost workers so that they can keep their prices down on their products. Of course not every employer does this. At Publix, the mark up value on watermelon is over 500%.
Illegals really help us out a lot. I work at a gas station and there was construction in front of it recently. Most of the workers were illegals brought over by the employers. In one truck alone I saw about 6 workers and about 4 of them were illegals. All of the illegals that came into the store were spanish and they told me themselves that they were brought over just to work.
