Arguing that the people believe the U.S. surge is working

A USA Today contributor has said that their has been a slight turn in the statisitcs that people are agreeing with President Bush's thinking of military progress in Iraq. The statistical change provided does not indicate any major change and therefore is null and void to me. They used phone surveys 1012 adults for the statistics which is always a questionable way of attaiing information to me. The genreal population does not know what to think or can not form their own thoughts on political issues so they regurgitate things the news says or what their more politically savvy friends say. In talking with people around Tallahassee I find a negative feeling about the surge and its progress but then again the majority of Tallahassee is Democrat. I do not believe anything should be taken away from this article as I feel it is just standard poll reporting on a major issue and is not particularly useful.
