Should we support Isreals consideration of sending in land troops to invade and occupy southern Lebanon as a way of stopping the attacks by Hamas and Hezbollah ? No one can get enthusiatic about the thought of an invasion of someone else's country but if we did decide not to support Isreal , the minute the world suspects that Isreal has been weekend and isolated then Isreal's enemies will become bolder. The world think Isreal is a military and political pitt bull because the U.S. is its financial, political, and military sugar daddy. When the rest of the world learns about the U.S not backing Isreal fully, Isreal will have been transformed from a pitt bull into Paris Hilton's chihuahua. As a result greater and wider conflict is the probable result our failure to support a long term ally.
