Gay Parents

Does the sex of two parents make them better canidates to raise children. I don't believe so, I can think of many straight couples that have children and are probably the worst parents I know. When I think of most of the homosexual couples I know they really take pride in being a parent and love that child unconditionally. So what do ya'll think? If the parents are straight are they better parents?

The scientific studies have shown that children of homosexual or heterosexual parents turn out the same.

Yes, Alex, sometimes scientific studies are wrong. But when multiple studies say the same thing, which they do in this case, it is rare that they are all wrong. A whole lot of evidence can be compiled on this matter and it has. There are many homosexual people in America who have heterosexual relationships at some point in their lives and the number of homosexual parents is not small. Besides, it is the height of logical fallacy (committing at least 5 or 6 fallacies) to reject scientific evidence just because you don't like what it says. That doesn't work. If you think it's wrong, you have to find evidence that it is wrong. If you can't do that, then the only logical option is to accept the evidence.
