President Obama set off on a tour top discuss his health plan with the citzens. Thursday he was in Green Bay. Obama's motive was to re-assure citizens that with a reformed nationalized health care system, citizens will not lose their preferred doctor and they will not recieve less care. Critics such as Republicans and Conservative Democrats are against the President's plan because they suggest that with this plan private health care will diminish and health care quality will decrease. As stated earlier, the President stated that his plan will not do that.
I wrote a paper on German, French, and Swiss health care systems last semester and in my opinion Germany has the best system, most think France does. But if Obama's plan works the way it's supposed to, I think America could have the most efficient system in the world.

I understand why people are so worried. Change is hard to cope with sometimes. Some people like the way their health care is handled now and don't know what to expect in the future. I think everyone should calm down. The health care change should be in the best interest for the country. When there is a reccession you have to find ways suitable for the majority rather than let it stay the way it is because it benefits a few.

I believe the common sense approach of Obamas' healthcare plan is the one of the most impressive things he has implemented so far in his administration. He is taking his plan directly to the people of the United States of America. He is gaining support for his plan and letting the people decide if it’s the best way to combat healthcare cost. I have no doubt that he will be able to pass his new healthcare agenda once the people start to put pressure on their local legislators.

I believe that President Obama's new health care plan will be a success if everything goes accoring to plan and it will help the economy. If Obama's plan goes into effect then more people will be able to have health care and people who already have health care can keep there plan and doctor. It is a win-win situation for everyone.

I don't think that this plan is a win-win situation. The inevitable cost of this plan is a decrease in tax deductions for high income Americans, and a raise in taxes overall for everyone, except those who cannot afford to, and therefore do not pay taxes. Is this fair? It is a shame that healthcare is expensive in the United States, but taxing the rich in order to help people who do not help the economy as much as higher income citizens goes against common sense to me.

The one thing that I cannot emphasize enough is that we already pay for universal healthcare. Every time someone goes to the doctor without out health insurance the tax payers are left with the bill. Instead of people going to do preventive healthcare they are left going to the emergency room. This ends up being a much more costly way to receive healthcare. Lets solve this problem now.
