Many studies have shown that the action capital punishment is given peremptorily and issues with giving lethal injections has left the state courts and legislatures to contend with the law or stop executions altogether. To me, that is not a problem at all. When a person is sentenced to death, they have did something very wrong. What about all the pain that they have caused the victim of their crime. That is pain that they have to live with for the rest of their lives, which I believe is way worse than dying with them. Capitol Punishment, is a form of punishment that needs to stay in exsistence.

I agree with you. I am a firm believer in an eye for an eye. In my opinion, if someone is proven, beyond the shadow of a doubt via DNA or whatever, to have murdered someone, then they should not only receive the death penalty, but they should have to die the same way that they made their victim(s) suffer.

I think euthenasia is a little cruel. The electric chair has been a child hood nightmare of mine for ever. However, I believe that there are alternatives to Capitol punishment. Human Life is sacred. Yet murder and rape are acts that arent easily forgiven by any means. I think that the family of the victim should be able to choose the fate of the offender. Some might aregue that death by injection is to cruel or too leniant a punishment. Let the family decide to some degree.
In a situation like this, you must remember that there are a lot of people in America that are wrongfully imprisoned. Some believe that we should do away with the death penalty altogether in order to avoid putting the ultimate punishment on someone that may not have actually been guilty. I do think that it is ridiculous though, life in prison is probably just as bad, if not worse in my opinion, than the death penalty so what's next...are they going to start to classify that as Capitol Punishment as well?
