General Petraeus was being questioned regarding the surge of troops in Iraq. They are trying to have the 20,000 troops sent to Iraq last year returned. At first the increase in military troops in Iraq was helping but, now they are not seeing results.

I personally do not see Bush's reasoning behind sending so many troops over to Irag to begin with. Of course the original amount of troops we started out with would not have been enough to get us to where we are now, but with as many troops as we have over there now, its becoming more of a problem and nuisence for both families awaiting troop arivals and the military branches themselves.
Yes, please start sending them home. The families and men and woman in Irag have been waiting long enough.
