Olympic Chaos
The Olympics which are supposed to be held in Beijing, China this summer are under serious fire. The riots in Tibet have other countries feeling nervous about the upcoming games. French president Nicolas Sarkozy raised the issue of boycotting the Olympics which the U.S. and European Union did not agree with. Do you think the Olympics are in danger this year? If so, what needs to be done to protect the games and the athletes?

I think it will be a problem being held in China. If it's held there the U.S. and other counrties that will be involved in the olympics needs to send a few hundred troops over there just to let everyone if a riot or and choas breaks out it will be under control.
I understand everyone's problem with the Olympic's being held in China. But I don't think its gonna stop the Olympic's from happening. You can't ever provide 100 percent protection for the athletes, as it has been proved in the past, but their will be enough soldiers and police force out there to at least scare plotting terrorists from doing anything.
Even though there are riots the Olympics shouldn't be cancelled. There just needs to be alot more security then usual in order to protect everyone.
Riots that are occuring in Beijing should not cause the cancellelation of the Olympics. Instead they should just increase security measures. For example they should just have metal detectors, bomb sniffing dogs, and more people to protect everyone.
