More oil gets set aside!!!

The Energy Department said Friday it would continue putting oil into the Strategic Petroleum Reserve even as crude oil prices remain above $100 a barrel. What do you think is the reason for the government to be doing so?

I never even thought about that. Maybe that could be the reason.

The reason why our government is doing this is because they want to be able to support our oil needs in a time of crisis in case something drastic happens with our oil supply in the middle east.

I agree, I think it is a smart idea to set oil aside for a rainy day. You never no what is going to happen with our oil in the middle east. So this way if they do decide to not supply us we can last for a bit until we find a new source for oil.

I agree on setting oil aside smart plan. we should think of more ways to save and reserve like buying more energy efficent light bulbs and adding guzzling tax, to this mudding trucks that people use for xtra fun activities.
