Marine captured
The Marine responsible for killing fellow Marine Maria Lauterbach was apprehended by Mexican authorities, announced last thursday. Cesar Laurean fled from North Carolina to Mexico three months ago. Laurean is still waiting on extradition from Mexico, but he will be charged with murder and among other things. This shows that Mexico is still cooperating nicely with the U.S government. Anyone who flees to another country from their committed crimes should face the harshest penalities there are, and I believe Laurean will get what he should have coming.

I agree that he should be punished but maybe there was a reason for this. I have heard cases of soldiers with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder which causes them to have flashbacks and make them lose control. As for Mexico releasing him back to us. Of course they were going to they had no part in it except for the fact he fled there.

I think the same way and agree strongly with your post, there should be a harsher punsihment for ones who flee and get caught.
