Government Refund
I think the government refund that President Bush is giving everyone is a smokescreen. President Bush is offering a temporary solution for a long term problem. He wants to go out on a high note and leave the new President with the mess he created. Don’t get me wrong I’ll take the money, but I doesn’t change the fact that most American families have been crippled and $300 a person will not even come close to helping them.

I also think this is just a way for President Bush to go out on our good graces. He knows that he messed up a lot and I guess last minute he's trying to show that he's no that bad. But hey, I could definitely use the money.
