Every week, another product from China is being reported as a health threat. It first started with pet food. Many dogs and cats died due to melamine additives. If that wasn't bad enough, they were also adding it to baby formula, which sickened thousands and killed at least four babies. Lead is being found in many products, including toys for our children. It was reported on the news that millions of defective air valves from China are on our car tires which have caused blowouts that have resulted in deaths. Even bras from Victoria's Secret have chemicals which are causing rashes and open sores. When is the government going to do their job and protect us. We don't have much of a choice. Check the labels when you shop. Everything is Made in China.

Things are never going to stop being made in China. They hold so much of the world’s wealth, product and people. While I agree that we should be careful with what we buy and be alert to the warnings out there, I also know there is no escaping that we are always going to rely on China.

I agree. It is impossible to avoid things made in China. I did a report on how the FDA misses so many harmful merchandise from all over the world.

I wished our government would re-evaluate who we trade with. The standards by which we are subjected to tainted products. Makes you want to revamp the FDA. I hope the in-coming administration will take a long and hard look at our overseas imports. It is good to feel sfe about the products we purchase.

With our taxes going up all the time, and the cost of living going up, most of us are looking to save a buck. So what do we do, we buy cheap, made in China. In order reduce cost what do manufactures do, made in China. If we want to help protect ourselves we need to but American. Our manufactures need to stay in America! I would rather the government spend money on decreasing taxes and costs of living than examining items from China. Don't get me wrong I think these products do need to be throughly inspected. And yes, I too buy made in China products, to save a buck.
