Iraq's Parliament approved the withdrawal of U.S. Troops by December 31, 2011. Of the 198 lawmakers present, 149 raised their hands in favor of the "Status of Forces Agreement." Despite all the disagreements and arguments among the Sunnis, Shiites and Kurds, I am glad to see democracy is working in Iraq and that the sacrifice our troops made was not in vain. I hope the people of Iraq appreciate what they did as much as we do.

I know the people of Iraq appreciate what the US has done for them. My brother has served 2 tours in Iraq and he's told me stories of how people come up to him and thank him all the time. I know we need to leave sometime I just hope it isn't too soon and a lot of work we've done over there collapses.

This is something that will make plenty of people happy. I think that we should pull our troops but make sure they reason and have an understanding with iraq because we need more terrorist attacks. Those soliders deserve to see thier families their ready to come home im sure.No more worries for the family ,no not knowing if you will see your loved one after the war.Knowing they are coming home is a good feeling.

I am gald that are troops will finally be removed from Iraq. I believe that the removal of Saddam Hussein was a very important endeavor which would have had to have been accomplished at some point or another. It is just good to know that it is almost over in Iraq and that we can now focus on more important threats.

Nice, I also hope the sacrifice was not in vain. Lets hope that democracy continues and spreads throughout the world. And brings about change for the better. Thank you to all who have severed, them and their families who have severed here at home.
