What isn't political science?

In class a week or so ago, Mr. Quinnell asked us to come up with a question about political science or politics in general. I was really curious about my question, so I was hoping y'all could help me answer it: it said on our notes, The Main Study of Politics, "studying everything is political, studying politics means studying nearly everything". So, my question is, what is not politics? Technically in some way I think politics could be related to everything, but where so you draw the line?

Very good point/question. I'm not sure where you draw the line. As the notes said, it means "studying nearly everything." So what falls outside of nearly everything? There must be something that is not covered by political science!

It seems like political science is anything that has to do with our society. I personally can find many things that don't have to do with our society. I believe it isn't fair that my father buys a computer for $700 dollars then 2 years later a faster version with more programs and memory comes out at $500 dollars yet that is perfectly okay with 'our' society. Infact I have yet to here anyone say that this must be brought to an end and that something has to be done about this crisis. *Laughing*

Anything can be related to politics, particularly when you relate it to laws, government funding, etc.
