Twitter In Today's Society:

Twitter is being called one of the greatest revolutions in communications in a long time. But is it really that great? Time Magazine had a cover story that explains how Twitter is changing today's society. Twitter is basically an open-market where anyone can say anything and anyone can comment on each others opinions. Its sounds to be like a bad therapy session.

I agree with you entirely on this. I personally feel like Twitter just makes it easier for stalkers. It's definitely hard for me to believe that anyone would consider this to be a great revolution in communication. It's just increasing narcissism in the youth.

I disagree with this post. Although Twitter may seem like a bad therapy session or like it gives stalkers easy access to peoples lives, it is actually a great to communicate with people around the world. It even helps us see what is going on around the world like in Iran. Duruing the Iran elections people were Twittering and posting about what was going on. It gave us firsthand information on how crazy things were getting as it was happening. Although, some people may use these websites for the wrong reasons, I believe that it has good intentions.

I would like to agree but i don't fully understand the concept of twitter. It sounds like it can be interesting from my basic knowledge of it. People are free to say and feel how they want. It is interesting to see people's feelings on certain subject assuming people say what they mean. Also it is helping the world stay in contact. This is good for world communication.
