We should strive to make 2010 the year of the young elected official. Young people throughout the country have been giving up the opportunity to run for public office in fear that they will not win for to long. There is absolutely nothing that we can't accomplish. America needs the next generation to take on the future now. So many of our current politicians are out of touch and need a different view of the world that we live in. As a youth, we have so many new ideas that need to be expressed throughout our government. I challenge all of you to dream big.

This is such an inspirational post. I agree with everything you said in it. The youth should have some say in our government. Our leaders should be both young and old, working together, each showing eachother new ways of looking at things. I see more progress that way.
