John McCain with Mike Hukabee as VP

I'm sure many have heard the rumors of Huckabee teaming up with McCain which were supposidly denied by the Huckster himself. I've been reading/listening about an under the table agreement between the two. I personally don't like either of the men, but at this point its hopeless for the republicans with Fred Thompson out of the race, and Mitt Romney's path to nomination looking slim. It's going to be either one or the other, or in this case both. How do you all feel about these two together? From what i have been hearing the die hard Reaganistic Republicans aren't too happy.

It was hopeless BEFORE Fred Thompson dropped out!!

I am a Republican and I have to say I would like McCain better with Huckabee BUT I still don't like either one enough for them to give them my vote.

I got to give it to them for sticking it out though..even after it is painfully obvious our next president will be a Democrat they are still in there fighting!

I actually don't think it would be THAT bad. I mean I don't really like McCain but if he had Huck with I just might give him my vote.

They have two very different views on things I, don't see it working. If they did become president and vice president, if their term in office did not go well it would destroy the opprotunity for the vice president to ever effectively run for president.

I am hoping McCain would do this but most likely won't be the case. To put a person under you who ran against you might upstage what McCain is trying to due. I hope he puts in someone who the extreme right wings like.
