I am very glad that Obama has beat Hilary Clinton in the first step to the presidential campaign. I really do not consider her the country's best interest in President. Although I don't know much about Obama, I know based on my knowledge of Hilary Clinton that he is a better choice.

I am not a big fan of Barrack Obama but I feel he will serve the country much better if he is the Democratic nominee for President. The fact that he got to work earlier than Hillary will not be a big factor in the election in my opinion.

I agree with a. pridgeon, it wont matter in the long run that he announced his candidacy before Hillary. While I think Obama is an excelent speaker, I feel he might need more than that. Hillary has had more political experience than him and that is always a good thing to have. In the end they may end up teaming up, which I think would help them win.

I feel that Hillary Clinton would have been a better choice in some ways outside her past with Bill Clinton. But at the same time I can't pass judgement on Obama because I don't know anything he is standing for.

I personally am a big fan of Barack Obama, I am certain he will make an amazing leader if he is to gain presidency. I would really suggest his book “The Audacity of Hope” if you want a clearer depiction on his character and his political views. I have to say that I don’t think Hillary Clinton would make an excellent leader… I feel as if she is using her husband as a platform and seems to have some bad cases of verbal diarrhea.

I'm not that familiar with Barack Obama. I feel if he wins the presidential election it would be great. I don't know how the rest of the U.S feels about a minority leader but Obama must prepare himself for the racist people in this country, because racism is alive in this country. This will not be an easy road for him.
