Rick Scott is the Governor of Florida and has unveiled extremely high budget cuts to spending. He proposed to cut billions out of the education system, which is highly detrimental to both students and teachers a like. I have several friends who's parents are teachers themselves for lower income schools. For instance, say the teacher is teaching at a lower income school and their income is now based on how well the students do, regardless of how well the teacher actually teaches. In my opinion I don't feel that is right one bit, If you have worked your way up provided that you are a good teacher, their students results should not be weighted on the source of the teachers income. The majority of the time the lower income schools usually do not do so well in general as they do the upper level areas that contain students, so it is logical that the students would not do well so how is it possible for teachers to have their income based on students who do poorly in general? There are many wrong ideas associated with the education cuts and it affects a huge majority of people located in Florida.
