Living the Laws
So, I went up to the Shell Station on Macomb to get a pack of cigarettes. I'm wearing simply a pear of blue jeans - no shoes, no shirt. Before I get to the window, I am screamed at, "PUT A F**KING SHIRT ON!" Now, there is no sign on the window, yet alone the establishment, to have the proper attire to enter the store. Yes, I may look different, but a guy right behind me walks in wearing a skinny tank-top and his jeans down to his ankles. I simply look at the two clerks and proceed back to my car to find a shirt. I walk back to the door and enter. I ask for a pack of smokes. I comment on the incident. The female clerk says, "Don't you see the sign on the door!?" " No baby I don't, and where I am from, no one wears shirts, yet alone shoes." "I'll make sure to put a sign on the door tomorrow!" Now, was it my appearance that her decision was based off of, or was it in her actual store policy?

Several things:
1. Don't use profanity in posts.
2. you can't get credit for a post without putting your name and class on it.
3. "Shirt/shoes" rules are state or local law, not just store policy. Enforcement is not universal, but it is a law.
