A hard working middle class family is paying over $1,000 a month in healthcare premiums. When presented with the idea of a national health care plan that would be much more affordable that was suggested by Obama, they were against it! Their reason was even if they had to pay more they couldnt trust the government to get it right! How sad.

People are oblivious to the fact that there are better choices out ther than what President Obama has given for us. He has promised more than what he is exhibiting. They are blinded by the limelight of our newly elected president and would follow him to hell and back. As far as health care, because our economy and government has screwed up so severly many families are fearing the worse. With job losses increasingly daily many wont take any chances now.

National Health care for everyone sounds fantastic. However, what people fail to realize is that every single solitary government program needs funding. And where does this funding come from you might ask? The tax payer. If there was a national health care system, you would still have to pay for it. Government intervention is almost never the key. Government exclusion almost always is.
ReplyDeleteNational health care would be great. wouldn't it be nice just to walk into an emergency room and be treated regardless of if you are insured or not? Oh wait, they have to treat you already. And please do not complain about the quality; if you cannot afford to pay for health care, be glad you are getting any at all. It is a shame that health care costs as much as it does, however government health care would make it even more expensive, and less functional, just like everything they get involved with.

The idea of national health care plan is to get everyone health care, but it might not be the best health care. The families logic is probably like many others that feel the same way as them. That logic is it is better to pay more for healthcare than pay less for health care that is not top quality.

Who are you referring to as they ? The problem with a national health care system is tax's who rise beyond belief. The system wouldn't work for doctors since they would all be basically paid the same. Another problem with this is waiting time to go and see a doctor. Today anyone can go to a doctor and get a procedure done, but with a national healthcare system, there would be a waiting list for so many procedures.
