Susan Sarandon (Bull Durham, other movies) has vowed to move to Italy or Canada if John McCain is elected president. She is on a growing list of A-list stars to "vow" to move out of the country if their candidate loses the presidential race, and the majority don't follow through. I would pay some attention if they actually packed up and shipped out. Anyone that wants to move out of the greatest country in the world because their candidate didn't win is stubborn, and looks like they don't have faith in America. Last time I checked Alec Baldwin (The Departed), Eddie Vedder (Pearl Jam), and Sean Penn (Fast Times at Ridgemont High) still are in the U.S. making movies, living their lives. I've got two words for Sarandon if McCain is elected, prove it. Send me a post card from Florence, or Toronto.

I must agree. I too plan on moving out of the country once I obtain my degree. You claim America is the "greatest country in the world," hard for me to believe. Any country that makes it hard for vets that dedicated their lives to this "great country" to get medical care is not that great. Not to mention the other numerous errors in this country. I'll send you a post card once I leave!

I agree too. How hard is it to hear the soldier's stories about wanting to come home but they can't. That they were promised to come home but have to fulfill another six months. Whether I have my degree or not if we have to sit through another Bush term i'm moving back to the Virgin Islands.

It’s not just because their candidates want win but because if we have to live another four years under another president that is like President Bush I would leave also. He does nothing in his power to help the united States we have troops that are fighting in a war they say is for our country but who knows the truth behind that story. Our troops are hanging themselves and being killed due to the fact our President want to make all the money he can before his term is up. It’s all about the money he don’t care about or troops or their families. America is good but with the right president it could be better. If you have the power and the money to leave and live in a better place then do so.

I agree too. This is the most craziest thing i heard in a while. That is really stubborn to say that even though she is a Democrat. I believe John McCain is the better president and will b e elected in the upcoming election in November.

I think that is crazy why are you going to leave the country cause your president didn't when. Your still on the same planet. And all the leader of the world still have to come together to make decision so let the start running just to realize they can't this affect everyone every where.( also I don't even watch T.V don't know who half these people are or of there existence, and don't need to see them on my tv screen to make me happy) Now on the other hand if they leave and gas go down well shoot I'll help them pack. They need to come down to earth when it comes to this there the average citizen.
