John McCain welcomes Barack Obama to the fall campaign with more criticism. John McCain believes now that Barack Obama is his Democratic opponet and thinks the country needs a wartime commander and chief with more experience. He does not believe Barack Obama has what it takes on becoming a presidental leader. What will this election bring for the U.S. citizens?

I feel the american people will make the right choice and choose John McCain. He has way more experience than Obama. When I hear Obama speak it just sounds like a pep rally and nothing is actually going to get done. Obama does a real good job getting the crowds pumped up but can he actually do anything else?

I, too, believe that experience is much more important in this election. No one had heard of Obama before his speech at the DNC a few years back and now he's the Democratic Nominee. I think the huge media following is just boosting up a huge cult of personality, which the people love, but what does it say about his experience and what he'll do in office? He says we need change, but we don't need the kind of change he wants to bring about.
Obama's camp is also trying to pick and choose what is ok and not ok to talk about in this election. Howard Dean says whenever you bring up his (former) church you're, "race baiting." If McCain had been sitting in a church for 20 years that was preaching white supremacy and bringing in other radicals as guest speakers, he wouldn't even be in the race, maybe not even politics. It's a double standard, and it's not ok to ignore in this race, and fortunately right wing pundits won't ignore it.

Everyone wants to be stuck on this Obama-Wright controversy. It's in the past, no one is bringing up the McCain-Hagee situation. I feel, that if we vote McCain into office, it will be four more years in the Bushes! I'll pass!

McCain was endorsed by Hagee, and McCain announced that he didn't accept the endorsement. McCain also didn't sit and listen to Hagee for 20 years, it's completely different... why do you think you don't hear about it as much?

I think that McCain is way too hold to hold a position as executive leader. Obama is an dynamic speaker, and he does not sound like he's at a pep rally. McCain speakes as if he's giving a euglogy at a funeral. I think that McCain uses the excuse that he's a war veteran. I think it doesn't matter, because i know obama hasn't really stressed the issues but neither has McCain. Electing Senator McCain is asking for another 8 years of bush.

McCain released his medical records and he's healthy, I think he's more than capable of running the country and a better choice.
Since when does speaking determine your competence as a world leader? Sure it's a plus, but experience is more important for me in November, something McCain has. One of the main issues people seem to ignore with Obama is that he has VERY little experience. Does anyone remember 2000 when Bush was criticized for just being a governor from Texas with not enough experience? Where is that criticism now? Does Obama have enough "gravitas" to win the election without a solid VP?

To say McCain is giving an excuse that he's a war veteran is ignorant. That is what proud americans do, and to consider this an excuse is funny. I would love to see a war veteran in the office. Then McCain will actually have a feel for what is going on out there unlike Obama who loves talking and not getting anything done.

I believe that America will pick the right president. I think that John Mc Cain would be a good president, because he is a good leader and has more experience than Obama. John McCain knows how to control our country and military.
