Could Bush really be Impeached?

In this article Representative Kucinich presented impeachment papers to the House. Kucinich said that Bush broke the oath and took the United States to war. Although Nancy Pelosi, the speaker of the house said that there was no way that impeachment was going to happen Kucinich received 50% of the vote. Now what if impeachment was proposed years ago when the war begain? And if Bush is doing such a horrible job why are they keeping him in the White House?
