The war, the troops, the economy, the health care system the pet, you decide. We really are a sick
society we value the life of a pet more than the
human being themselves. The people in the United States Of America would rather put a person in jail for five years just for leaving their dog in the car with the window cracked. On the other hand you can be a
child molesting teacher and yet never have to go to jail for any time at all. Feed a dog, yet let the hungry
children starve. May God Bless America!
I totally understand where you're coming from. This is why many people don't have faith in our laws or our legal system. I don't think we should forget about the animals, but people should be our first priortiy.
ReplyDeleteI understand where you're coming from too, but I don't believe that losing faith in the system is the way to go. Personally, animals are animals...they don't need protection from people. I know, the commercials and the animal police shows show animals mistreated and degregated and it's quite sad, but animals are animals and humans are humans. We are the top of the food chain. There is one thing that you may like to know about everywhere but Florida (which has the hightest incarceration rate of incest/child molesters/sex crimes not including rape in the country last time I heard, which I heard from a social psychiatrist friend). It really doesn't matter the sentence given to a sex offender...if they are sent to prison, prisoners, M13, Aryan Nation, Bloods and Crips alike, gang up on these people. Why? Nobody likes a child predator.
ReplyDeleteLike JD i think that we must keep faith in our legal system. It is more important that we become proactive to any and all injustices.
ReplyDeleteThat's true. Society is more based on animals then human beings. There are many homeless and starving children out there who need love yet we pass them by. Now if it would have been a dog, or cat most of us would stop in a hurry, and shelter it.
