On a lighter note...

This is a short article from the Tallahassee Democrat about Attorney General Charle Crist and how he raised 2.12 million for his campaign for Governor.

The person who spends the most money in a campaign doesn't always win. They do win most of the time, but not always. Out of campaign funds, candidates are allowed to pay themselves a salary, but what they can do with the money is heavily regulated and they can't "pocket" it. Almost all of the money they raise goes to television advertisements.
