The economy is still on shaky ground and these are the kind of unpredictable statements the public don’t need. Understanding the President’s administration and even the President wants to constantly reassure the citizens this is not the way to do it. Whatever happened to just plain honesty…the country was a mess when Obama inherited it and it will take more than a year to repair, can it really be repaired, or more. Who will actually get these 95,000 jobs every month and will it be visible to working class people?

This economy is not doing so well right now. I agree that Obama was given the short end of the stick in this situation. I do hope that he does everything in his power to help get these people in need jobs. There is the saying that things usually get worse before it gets better, lets just hope we've seen the worst of things and that they start looking up from here on.

It's definately bad but my feeling is its gonna get worst. 95,000 jobs seems like a lot and any kind of employment helps. However in the large scale picture of unemployment thats not nearly enough.

I do have a hard time believing that Mr. Obama is real concerned with our job situation when he's trying to cut programs like NASA. That's going to be 7,000 jobs that will be cut if it goes through. Why should those people suffer, they've paid their dues with working hard to get where they are. I'm no scientist, but I think it's safe to say that getting into NASA is not too easy.

Obama was given the short end of the stick when it comes to the economy . Hopefully he happens to fall short of turing things around people will look at his efforts of what he wanted and tried to get done instead of what he didnt get done.
