Obama Crawfishing over money and faith...how un-savior like!

Obama agreed in writing that if nominated he would use public money to run for president...as did Senator McCain. Now that Obamas nomination seems likely he is suggesting that he and McCain need to talk about this issue...apparently in light of all of the money Obama is accepting and being promised from private sources. What's to discuss? What is it about giving your word, even putting it in writing with a signature that Obama doesn't understand? Guess now that Obama has the Teamsters offering money (can you say "organized crime"?...how about "blood money"?... I should probably shut up or I may "sleep with the fishes"!), as well as numerous other special interest groups, his character (or lack thereof) is strained to the breaking point, one might even say has snapped, like a rotten twig. Not the first time Obama has flaked out on his committments. He swore allegiance to Islam...of course that was before he realized that he wanted a career in politics where being a Muslim could pose problems. No problem for a man of Obamas character...he merely converted to Christianity. One might speculate that Obama is in fact shameless...will say and or do anything to get to the top. The big changes he is promising are unsubstantiated by any sort of reasonable or even remotely viable plan...backed up by nothing more than his eloquent manner of speaking. What we do know of his plans seem likely to further destabilize the middle east...probably result in genocide in Iraq, $10.00 plus per gallon fuel for American citizens once Iran and China step in to fill the void, not to mention the betrayal of the trust of all of our middle-eastern allies. Wonder how many freshly laundered Yen have found their way into the Obama coffers? Do you suppose their might be some Taliban or Al-Quaeda money backing Obama's play as well? Said groups certainly must be excited about the prospect of a Muslim President of the United States...oh yeah, Obama calls himself a Christian now...(wink wink). As a veteran of the Gulf War Era I am probably not the most objective person in the world when it comes to this issue, but I think Obama is lieing about his faith, just as he was lieing about how he would fund his presidential campaign, and is almost certainly lieing about how he can change the world for the better (maybe he actually is arrogant enough to believe he can...most of the really good liars tend to believe their lies). I suspect that our enemies are laughing incredulosly (when they are not praying fervently for the success of their Muslim brother's presidential bid) at how incredibly stupid Americans really are. Oh well, at least Obama's snotty wife is proud.... did you know she was a healthcare executive approaching a quarter million in annual salary plus perks before she quit to join her attorney husbands campaign? I for one am overwhelmed by the sacrifice she has made to serve her country...hope she didn't have to give back the Mercedes.

  2. The gas prices are scary enough. I hope who every gets presidency wont contribute to a rise in taxes or a rise in gas prices. Everytime I look at my bills I realize how much of my money goes to federal, state, and local taxes. The only good twist I can say about your blog is the fact that Obama's wife worked in Healthcare. That might contribute to a quicker reform of our healthcare system. We really need it. Its time we start taking care of eachother. The world is toooooooo selfish these days.

  3. gshaw,You seem to despise the very fact that the “Obama’s” were able to capitalize on the very thing that the USA stand for. You have all this hype for how much money the Obamas have or for their profession, do, I scene envy? I have never heard you talk about how money any of other candidates makes. Statistics show that on average a black profession male only about makes one third of what his white counterpart makes and a Professional Black Woman make even less then white men or women on average. Perhaps the reason you point out what you think to be the income of the Obama family is because you are worried about the “Statist Quote.” I don’t think it is wise for you to be a hater it only exposes your feelings on the way you view people in your perceived social and economic hierarchy. One quick question, “how much money do you think Obama should get as the First Black President?” Would it be different from the amount McCain would get and why? Is it also your belief that Mrs. Clinton should be paid less because she is woman? Brittany York, you might not be an Obama supporter but do you support your country? Then when the country has spoken and the word is Obama, I hope you will support your countries choice. GShaw, this post is by far one of your weaker attempts at negative Obama smear campaign.

  4. P.S. gShaw, Mccain changes his mind more often then he changes his depends {special underpants for big boys}. Because he hold the record when it come to the changing of mind. In 2004 he thought Hiliary Clinton would be a great President, were does he stand now? He wimpering about money, well he can always raise more. Oh, that right most of his on party don't even support him.

  5. Iturner...never said a word about Obamas race...dont think he should make a penny less than a "white man". Can't imagine why you would think any of my comments had anything to do with race, perhaps you should read my post again. I do take exception to the fact that Obama appears to be crawfishing on his pledge to use public funds...as I said in my post. As I have indicated, I question the sincerity of Obamas religious conversion, and having fought with and against many muslims, can say that their conversion is a very rare occurence indeed. My reference to Mrs. obamas career and income, I think it is relevant as they are representing themselves as the peoples candidates, and probably make ten times the income of the average american (between them). I also think it is interesting that Mrs. Obama made a small fortune serving the Medical industry, and would now propose that said industry be reformed. I think Obama makes a sorry presidential candidate, and am afraid that if elected he will screw the country to its knees. Stating this opinion does not indicate whether or not I personally like him...I have never met him, but have no doubt that he is very personable...would probably like him. I adore my fiance, who is also an attorney in govt. service, makes more than three times my income. Am quite pleased that we are comfortable, and that she is so accomplished...still dont think that she would make a very good president...doubt that I would vote for her if she were to run. I think it is sad that we cannot criticize a black man without a handfull of ignorant people assuming that said individual is being criticized because of the color of their skin...especially when said criticism is in print, with reasons clearly stated. some of the most bigotted racists I have ever known have been black, and most of my black friends are quick to point out the double standard that exists between black and white in this country. Said friends express disgust over the hypocrisy of blatant racists who pull the race card at every opportunity, whether justifiable or not. Am unaware of all of the flip flopping you refer to with McCain. Even his well informed critics are quick to point out that he has served honorably and consistently for half a century. So, as far as racial accusations and finger pointing, it certainly appears that their are four fingers pointing back at you Mr. turner.

  6. Gshaw, you did not as you say never said his race but I do ask, what is the problem? Oh that’s it they are supposed to be the people and they make to much money for that. You Shaw, sound like the bigot, since when does the peoples, people need to be poor. Maybe it’s just your up bringing, that lead you to think of others as less. Please so that you don’t appear to just be a pompous dweeb, list or cite your sources for your bias statements as it pertains to the Obamas. Just for the record some of the most racist and bigoted people also always say stuff like:” Most of my black friends “did you know that house maids or people who might happen to work in a domestic capacity for you or your parents doesn’t count toward your “Black list of friends”. Why can’t they just be your friends, for that matter how many black people do you know please show me one.
    >Said friends express disgust over the hypocrisy of blatant racists who pull the race card at every opportunity, whether justifiable or not. If the role is your everyday, every second of the day how can you play the race card? News flash I’m in the race, I don’t play the race card, and I’ll leave that to Al Sharpton. You can just call me champion, for I will champion the cause of my people to have equal rights and equal treatment by the law, government and public.
    >Am unaware of all of the flip flopping you refer to with McCain. Have you looked at his vote record and his public speeches, you obviously you have not you would not have made this comment.
I think Obama makes a sorry presidential candidate, and am afraid that if elected he will screw the country to its knees. Need I even ask where you do you any proof of this fallacy, slippery slope? Which do you prefer on your back, on your face or on your knees? Clinton had this country on its back. Bush has this country on its face. So it would be a step up if Obama gets this country up to its knees. Which position are you accustom to? Did I say how much McCain and Bush are alike?

  8. Turner, Sources are CNN, BBC, Newscorp (Sky and Fox News)...tend to spend alot of time on BBC site... surf between Tv news more for amusement than as an actual source...(so much bias and spin). I am not affiliated with any party, but find myself growing increasingly conservative in my views...thus, I usually end up spending more time with FOX...they are funny, and I tend to agree with Rupert Murdock, CEO of Newscorp... (also got to know several Fox anchors while serving in DC...kind of cool seeing them on TV) Get alot of news from girlfriend who has access to many inside sources through Legislature. Believe loan you refer to in article was secured for use in primaries, everybody uses private money in primaries...at issue is how they will fund campaign for general election. Try not to personalize issues Turner...comes across as very weak when a man cant disagree without getting angry...lashing out with insults and conjecture. Take a deep breath and exhale slowly. Inability to think objectively, to seperate personal feelings from debate of issues will hurt you in career, interpersonal relations, life in general. Some who know me well think its funny that you perceive bigotry in my writing. Seems your reading comprehension skills could use some development. Lots to do...already spent to much time here...may read your posts later this weekend.

  9. gshaw and turner, ya'll are arguing over this blog, and I personally agree with what both of you are saying, but at the same time I am backing you Lturner because gshaw you did just point out Obama and his wife's salary, but you didn't talk about no one else in this blog and their salary. Just because black's are making money nowadays doesnt meant anything. By Mrs. Obama being in Healthcare, hopefully that will help the American people out.
*Please dont write me back, because I do not want to argue, I just wanted to make a comment, and that's it.*

I'm saying that you just might have received a verbal punch in the mouth for not. But your a Big Boy I'm sure you can take it, tell your girl to get you some ice for the blows. Oh and speaking of which, I hope your education takes your far in your life but it not you can always be a grammer critic.
